The APM Group (APMG) is a leading accreditation, certification and qualification organization and serves as the Official Accreditor of the Cabinet Office.
IIL is an APMG Accredited Training Organization (ATO) for Projects in Controlled Environments (PRINCE2®) and IT Infrastructure Library® (ITIL®). In addition to PRINCE2 and ITIL, we offer training in five other APMG certifications: Agile Project Management (AgilePM), Management of Portfolios (MoP®), Managing Successful Programmes (MSP®), Management of Risk (M_o_R®) and Portfolio, Programme and Project Offices (P3O®).
Agile Project Management (AgilePM)
AgilePM certification is the result of collaboration between APMG-International and The DSDM Consortium. DSDM (Dynamic Systems Development Method) is the longest-established Agile method, as well as the only Agile method to focus on the management of Agile projects. Having evolved over the years, DSDM Atern is the latest version of which AgilePM is a subset. DSDM has operated predominantly in the corporate environment, and consistently demonstrated its ability to complement existing processes.
IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
ITIL is a set of best practice standards for IT service management. A public domain framework, its processes are scalable and adaptable based on organizational needs.
Projects in Controlled Environments (PRINCE2)
PRINCE2 is a structured, process-based approach for project management, providing an easily tailored and scalable methodology for the management of all types of projects. Published by the Cabinet Office, PRINCE2 is a frequently used standard for project management in the UK and more than 150 countries worldwide.
Management of Portfolios (MoP)
MoP seeks to build on and improve an organization’s existing processes, such as project and programme management. By approaching the management of change, projects and programmes from a strategic viewpoint, it provides an overview of all change activities. Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) MSP brings together related projects to manage their interdependencies, providing those responsible for managing programmes with a structure to help them deliver the business benefits.
Management of Risk (M_o_R)
Within project and programme environments, there will always be risks that need to be identified, analyzed and managed. M_o_R provides guidance around risk which can be used across an organization.
Portfolio, Programme and Project Offices (P3O)
Aligned with PRINCE2, MSP, and M_o_R, P3O offers a combined set of principles and processes for successful implementation of portfolio, programme and project management. A P3O model provides a structure for all change within an organization, enabling effective decision making and delivery.
