Impactful Leaders and the Power of Acknowledgment

with Frank P. Saladis, PMP, Presenter, and Judith W. Umlas, Host

About the Webinar

Today’s leaders and those aspiring to create and lead high-performing teams are realizing that achieving positive business results and organizational efficiency are not accomplished through a “command and control” approach. A much more people-focused approach is necessary to achieve business and enterprise objectives. Many organizations are experiencing what has been described as the “great resignation.” This includes government and nonprofit organizations. A phenomenon that is, in part, caused by the pandemic and the worldwide move to a much expanded virtual work and social environment.

The great resignation is also caused by factors that are well within the areas directly managed and controlled by organizational leaders. Research indicates that in the list of the top ten reasons employees quit their jobs, are lack of management’s recognition of employee performance, relationships with co-workers, and boring and unchallenged work rank. These factors are all associated with the need to establish and maintain a sincere and frequently used acknowledgment approach. Impactful leaders are aware of the need to show appreciation for work and actions performed by their team members, and demonstrate the behaviors defined within the context of the “transformational leader.”

This session will discuss and provide information about how Impact Leaders are changing the workplace to create more collaborative relationships and how sincere acknowledgments from management or co-worker can change an entire organizational culture and rise up to a reputation of world-class performance.

This webinar will provide up to 1.0 PDU.
