Project Management in a Post-AI World

While Artificial Intelligence is not new, we have seen marked acceleration in public interest with the launch of the first publicly available generative pre-trained transformer model in November 2022. Since then, there has been a flurry of activity with what in some cases feels like break-neck speed, calls for regulation and concerns about job security across multiple industries with professionals having a mix of reactions from cautious optimism to hopeless overwhelm. Project management as a practice and area of specialization, like many other fields, is not insulated from the impact of the advancement of AI.  

This talk goes back to the basics on the goal of project management, what is needed from project managers in today’s world and how to adapt and optimize your productivity and performance in a post-AI world.
