About the Course

5 hours

In today’s fast-moving, innovative and complex environment, one method of project management does not fit all. Successful project practitioners combine aspects of waterfall, Agile, and other methodologies to create a tailored approach to their projects. The vast majority of project practitioners blend practices to provide themselves with the flexibility they need to deliver value.

Hybrid Project Management Essentials provides a structured approach for blending roles, life cycles, and development approaches. You will learn how to combine fixed scope and evolving scope, and create schedules that allow for low-level evolution while maintaining high-level milestones. Hybrid project management requires negotiation and flexibility to balance iterative development while maintaining predictable delivery dates. You will learn to prioritize constraints, define completion criteria, and shift your approach if needed.

What You Will Learn

  • Tailor predictive and adaptive approaches, methods, and tools to meet the needs of a hybrid project
