Our Mission
To help everyone become an expert in project management, harnessing the power of a like-minded community.
In recent years, PMI Ukraine Chapter has demonstrated itself as an effective community of professional managers. We promote the professional development of our colleagues, build a network of contacts for current and future collaboration among both community members and other organizations. During times of war in Ukraine, we support each other with job opportunities both within Ukraine and abroad through interaction with other PMI chapters.
Furthermore, we recognize PMI as an influential force capable of driving meaningful change. In an era of profound transformation and adversity, our collective strength can make a significant impact and provide crucial support to those in need. This principle underscores our key initiatives and directs our course of action.

Essential Requirements Practices Webinar | PMI UA Connect'23
In appreciation of our members we hosted multiple events in 2023, including a private sunset tour aboard one of NYC’s most iconic and state-of-the-art boats. Members enjoyed a relaxing evening outside admiring the stunning sunset and evening lights of New York’s celebrated landmarks while networking with our PMINYC Community!
PMI Ukraine Chapter: Talk Around the Clock Virtual Conference
On February 6, 2023, Türkiye* and Syria got shattered by a 7.7 magnitude earthquake. We watched devastating news with a broken heart: Destroyed cities, thousands of people under the rubble, and multiple innocent victims, among them many children who lost their homes and families. Ukrainians apprehended what it means for a nation to endure pain and loss.
So the PMI Ukraine Chapter organized and held the Talk Around the Clock Virtual Conference in April 2023. The key themes of the conference were maintaining a resilient business, the VUCA world crisis management, and other essential areas. The conference crowdsourced €5921.37 for UNICEF in donations for people in Turkey who suffered after the devastating earthquake.
Medical Home Front of Ukraine Initiative
Volunteers from the PMI Ukraine Chapter have undertaken another project we are proud to share. During wartime, saving lives is of utmost importance, and project management skills can help achieve this goal with speed, quality, high efficiency, and effectiveness.
The experienced project managers of the PMI Ukraine Chapter are assisting professional doctors to improve management skills and implement high standards in frontline hospitals. It is crucial to ensure that when many victims arrive, there are no failures, and thousands of lives can be saved.
Introducing innovations in hospitals is a challenging task. Teaching medical professionals how to organize the internal processes of medical institutions requires daily concentrated efforts. As a part of the Medical Home Front of Ukraine initiative, a team of professional project managers-mentors from the PMI Ukraine Chapter assist healthcare professionals by guiding management, internal organizational processes, formation and maintenance of relevant project documentation, understanding of new protocols and instructions, and beginning to implement them on the ground. Each mentor holds weekly meetings with their team, and if there are any requests, they work individually and answer many current questions from doctors.
